Mary is a GDMI, OMS and the Director of STAPELL. When she's not out training the dogs, she is running the Blind Rider Program for our customers interested in enhancing their balance and physical/mental stamina alongside their therapeutic mounts. Jason is as passionate about Adventure Mobility with a guide dog as he is when conducting a regular follow-up visit. Jason is a GDMI, OMS, Founder and the General Manager of STAPELL. Christyne runs private and group counselling, as well as private and group AT training. As a prior Apple® Trainer, she can assist with a variety of technological interconnections. Christyne has a Counselling degree from Griffith University with a focus on Applied Behaviour Analysis aka Behavioural Engineering. Mary-Ann has over 30 years experience in office, administration and bookkeeping. She has been a business consultant, trainer, charity fundraising coordinator and manager for 27 years. Her passion (on the side) is as a Sales Director for Mary Kay.

Claudia is originally from Germany and has lived around Europe and now Australia. She has been a Chef, a mum, a Marketing Manager, and an IT “helper,” as she likes to call it. Claudia owns the company, FrauleinTech. With 20+ years of IT experience, we love Claudia’s style of helping us to understand our machines instead of just having someone fix them for us.
Gabby is the human equivalent of a Swish ball, having bounced between sunny, hilly Brisbane and the vast mountains of Sydney’s western suburbs since childhood. She knows a lot about traveling as a legally blind person and is passionate about advocating to make every area of life fair and equitable for everyone – no matter their ability. Gabby is a graduate of Griffith University with a degree in Arts and Law, majoring in History. She has administration and office experience from volunteering and paid work in government and the private sector. On the side, Gabby is a writer, with a historical fiction novel in the works
Chris has a background in canine rescue, training and rehabilitation, as well as being highly proficient on the computer. She keeps data on all our IGDF and GHAD processes, tracks client progress on the waiting list, and keeps all dog files and dog data up to date.
Kimmie joined the Stapell team in 2023. She has a heart for people and community. She grew up in the Noosa Hinterland, has worked in a variety of careers, travelling and experiencing many different roles within the community, including working on an outback station. She became a qualified Educator and within that teaching role found a passion for supporting young people and helping them to reach their goals. She has a background knowledge of Tactile Sign Language. She enjoys many hobbies including writing, music, sewing, crocheting, crafting, playing guitar, photography, cake decorating and cooking. She loves spending time with her husband and children Camping, fishing, 4wd driving and enjoying the outdoors.
Shane was born in Roma Central Queensland, he is a country boy at heart. Shane enjoys spending time with his wife and children, 4-wheel driving, camping and all types of fishing. He also enjoys cooking wonderful meals for his wife and family. He has worked in a number of different roles such as mechanic and security officer and a stay home dad. He joined the Stapell team in 2023 as he is passionate about helping others reach their goals in life. He is always up for new adventures and learning and teaching new skills.
